How Taparia cut Amazon returns from 14% to 6% across 150+ hand tools
Taparia, an Indian hand tool brand since 1969, more than halved its Amazon return rate after EcomBuddha rebuilt 150+ listings around one buyer question: is this the right tool for my job?

Why were buyers returning Taparia tools?
Buyers couldn’t tell if a tool would fit the job. Titles ran under 50 characters, most listings had no bullet points or description, and model numbers were often wrong. Nothing showed which tools came in a kit.
The return reports told the same story. Size mismatch made up 45% of returns, “not as expected” 30% and incorrect information 25%. A better listing can fix every one of those.
The deadline was tight: everything had to be live before Amazon’s Great Summer Sale in May.
What did EcomBuddha do?
- 1Read every review for each product type, across 30+ Taparia and competitor products, to find what buyers got wrong.
- 2Built a custom content theme from Taparia’s brand guidelines, with a grey accent that shows off the chrome finish. Taparia approved it within 48 hours.
- 3Generated content for 150+ products in the next 48 hours: which size suits which job, every tool and size in each kit, material, and correct model numbers.
- 4Made Taparia’s edits within 24 hours, then published all 150+ listings to Amazon from the app in one click. The manual upload used to take 2 hours per batch.
Products covered: wrenches, sockets, crimping tools, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, abrasive wheels, axes and wood planers.

How fast can EcomBuddha update a catalog?
About 100 products a day. Taparia’s 150+ listings went from brief to live in 7 business days, including brand approval and edits.
Can the content follow our brand guidelines?
